8 HTML5 development tools

Although HTML5 standard has not developed, but development tool providers have begun to follow-up for HTML5. The following 9  tools have been able to help developers integrate HTML5 in the program.

1.Adobe Edge

if you know how to work with animation timelines, once Adobe releases the full version of Adobe Edge, and adds some decent documentation, it will be a valuable tool in the web developer’s toolbox. For now, it’s worth checking out (since it’s free to try the preview release), and can be useful as a tool to try your hand at HTML5-based animations, especially if you’re already using Adobe Dreamweaver.

2.Adobe Dreamweaver CS6

6.Dojo Foundation Maqetta

Maqetta is an open source technology initiative at Dojo Foundation that provides WYSIWYG visual authoring of HTML5 user interfaces for HTML5 (desktop and mobile). The Maqetta application itself is authored in HTML, and therefore runs in the browser without requiring additional plugins or downloads. Maqetta allows user interface designers (sometimes known as User Experience Designers – UXD) to perform drag/drop assembly of live UI mockups

7.JetBrains WebStorm

HTML5, Node.js, TypeScript, CoffeeScript, ECMAScript Harmony, LESS, Sass, Jade, JSLint/JSHint, Google Closure Compiler JSDoc annotations… Do you need more names?

8.Google Web Toolkit

Google Web Toolkit (GWT) is a development toolkit for building and optimizing complex browser-based applications. GWT is used by many products at Google, including Google AdWords and Orkut. It’s open source, completely free, and used by thousands of developers around the world.
